NEW SUNRISE CLINIC (Takayuki Arai)
A hospital in Los Angeles where Japanese is spoken! A family doctor offering a wide range of services including internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, psychosomatic medicine, dermatology, health checkups, and treatment for colds and emergencies. One of the oldest specialties in America. We strive to provide thorough one-on-one consultations, drawing on 25 years of medical experience. A family-oriented general medicine practice that can be considered the originator of primary care in America
What is family medicine?
Family medicine is a long-established specialty in the United States. Rather than treating this disease or that disease, it's about treating the individual. In other words, it's not about "curing this disease," but about "making this person healthy," and it's a field of expertise that emphasizes the continuity of relationships with patients
A family doctor is a physician who, after receiving training in various fields such as internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and psychosomatic medicine, and being certified by the Society of Family Medicine, is responsible for the health management of everyone in a family, from babies to the elderly, whether it's just one person or five. (In the US, "general practice" means having no specialty.) They act as the "home" of healthcare, coordinating treatment with specialists as needed. It is the broadest specialty within primary care in the US

Regular health checkups are essential for managing your own health. Please make sure to get them regularly

Depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, panic disorder
Insomnia, palpitations, dizziness, and depression can stem from either psychological issues or internal medical problems. What's called autonomic nervous system dysfunction in Japan can also be a psychological issue. Please consult a doctor

Atopic dermatitis, acne, skin allergies, shingles, hives, warts, infections, athlete's foot, alopecia
Atopic dermatitis is quite common among Japanese people and is related to an allergic constitution. It can also suddenly worsen after coming to America. In addition, shingles, which is a disease of the elderly in America, is seen in Japanese people from a young age
▶Urinary
tract dysfunction/prostate
While Viagra and similar medications are often used for sexual dysfunction, the underlying causes include low male hormone levels, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension. It's crucial to address the underlying cause as well
▶Other
conditions include styes, hemorrhoids, joint pain, and migraines.
We offer a variety of other medical services as well. Please feel free to call us
