Surgical procedures for dental implants

When replacing missing teeth, crowns and traditional bridges or dentures aren't the only options. For certain patients, dental implants can provide a remarkably natural appearance and a more natural-looking smile. Surgically implanted under the gums over several appointments, the implant gradually fuses with the jawbone, serving as a base for replacement teeth, bridges, or dentures. Because implants fuse with the bone, they offer a highly stable treatment option. As the implant is integrated into the jawbone, replacement teeth feel more natural, and for some patients, they provide a more comfortable and stable fit than traditional replacements. To perform dental implants, healthy gums and sufficient bone are necessary to support the implant. A thorough evaluation is required to determine if dental implants are appropriate

Surgical procedures for dental implants

  • Dental implant placement, stages I & II
  • Immediate implant placement and bone grafting
  • Immediate temporary treatment
  • Bone regeneration induction for implant site adaptation
  • Maxillary sinus enhancement
  • Internal sinus manipulation (ISM)*
  • Computer-guided surgery

Microsurgery for minimally invasive treatment

  • Microscopic detection and surgical procedures using a surgical microscope

*Internal sinus manipulation (ISM)

  • The ISM method is a minimally invasive sinus enhancement technique used to create suitable conditions for implant placement in the posterior maxilla
