Established in 1993! An authentic izakaya (Japanese pub) boasting one of the largest menu selections in Orange County!
Izakaya Hondaya, which opened in 1993, was a small izakaya when it first opened
Over several years, they added a ramen and yakitori restaurant next to the izakaya (Japanese pub), and it became a popular spot!
Two small stores were combined into one large store, and the current Izakaya Hondaya was born
With table seating, counter seating, and tatami rooms available, Hondaya offers ample seating for approximately 100 people and is bustling with customers every day
Outside, we have an outdoor drink area and a gacha-gacha (capsule toy) area, so you can enjoy drinks while you wait, and your children can play with the gacha-gacha machines 🍻
The menu boasts over 300 items! (Including drinks)
Hondaya merchandise is also available for purchase at our store, so please ask a staff member

KAPPO HONDA Fountain Valley is a sister store of Hondaya and was founded in 1996
This restaurant, now in its 27th year, offers a wide variety of dishes, including yakitori, sushi, and other à la carte items
Currently, they also have limited-time menus available on certain days of the week, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes 🍣

The commercial for the hugely popular HONDA-YA BEER is finally complete!! 🍻
This Kölsch beer, created in collaboration with Nova Brewing Co. over seven and a half months, has become a huge hit at HONDA-YA and KAPPO HONDA! 😆😆
The design was meticulously crafted by professional Los Angeles designer Daisuke Okamoto, who paid attention to every detail. ☺️☺️
The commercial features the cooperation of professional figure skaters Sean Rabbitt and Richard Dornbush 🕺⛸️

[April 19-21] We will be exhibiting at OC JAPAN FAIR for the first time!
OC JAPAN FAIR will be held from April 19th to April 21st, 2024
This will be Hondaya's first time opening a store
At the Hondaya booth, we will be selling not only oden but also yakisoba and gyoza

In addition to food and anime, OC JAPAN FAIR also features stages with songs and performances
