Our aim is to cultivate children who possess a strong sense of identity as Japanese citizens living in the international community, who are intelligent and virtuous, who are physically and mentally healthy, and who have well-rounded personalities

Our school was established in 1969, based on the Japanese Business Association of Southern California (JBA). Since 1975, we have received human and financial support from the Japanese government and have strived to enrich and strengthen our educational content based on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's curriculum guidelines through training and guidance for locally hired teachers. Furthermore, in 2024, we received accreditation as an ESP (Educational Support School) from the WASC (West Coast School Association)

Currently, it operates as one of the largest schools in terms of student enrollment among the more than 200 government-sponsored supplementary schools worldwide. With a history of over 56 years since its founding, it has produced over 20,000 graduates, and including returnee students, the number of children who have studied at this school is even higher

Locally hired teachers dedicate themselves to daily lesson planning and preparation, striving to create lessons that are "easy to understand," "satisfy intellectual curiosity," and "enjoyable," providing instruction that is both rigorous and warm

Learning content	subjects such as tutoring (grades 1-2), Japanese language, arithmetic/mathematics, science, and social studies, please check the curriculum of each department.

Tuition fees (2026 academic year)

1. Entrance fee	$500.00 $250.00	*If enrolling at the same time, the second child onwards will be charged half the amount listed above Member of the Japan Business Association of Southern California (JBA)
2. Monthly tuition fee	$270.00 $270.00 $280.00	Kindergarten (11 installments, excluding July) Elementary and Junior High School Division (11 installments, excluding July) Senior High School (11 installments, excluding July) *A $10 discount is applied for the second and third child, and a $20 discount for the fourth child and beyond
3. Supplementary teaching materials fee		For elementary school students, the fee is deducted twice per term (first and second semesters), while for kindergarten, middle, and high school students, it is deducted once per academic year along with tuition. *The fee for supplementary materials for elementary school students varies depending on the term
4. Monthly expenses for improving the educational environment	$20.00	All faculties will pay in 11 installments per year, excluding July
5. Textbook fee		Textbooks for the senior high school division are not free. Additionally, children entering the elementary or junior high school division who do not have Japanese citizenship will be required to purchase textbooks
