| job description | Under independent judgment and discretion, you will manage, supervise, and direct two or more employees in the accounting department, overseeing general accounting and financial reporting functions with a duty exemption of more than 50% of your working hours. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to properly protect company assets and ensure that all financial reports are prepared in accordance with internal policies, and will perform the following tasks: ■Main duties (examples) *Related duties may be requested as needed. ・Manage, supervise, and direct two or more employees in the accounting department under independent judgment and discretion. Oversee general accounting and financial reporting functions, as well as financial services areas including credit, accounts receivable (A/R), and accounts payable (A/P), with a duty exemption of more than 50% of your working hours. Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to protect company assets and ensure that financial reports are prepared in accordance with internal policies. ・Make effective recommendations regarding hiring, disciplinary action, and termination. ・Balance credit risk with business objectives, strive to achieve objectives, and manage to ensure that only legitimate claims with appropriate approval are paid. - Oversees general accounting functions (internal transaction accounting, fund management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management (excluding inventory-related), royalty management). - Establishes and enforces policies and procedures (internal controls) to provide reasonable assurance for the protection of company assets.
