A hugely popular ramen shop whose deliciousness has been recognized by the Michelin Guide.

This ramen shop was finally featured in the 2021 California Michelin Guide. Ultra's ramen is characterized by its homemade noodles made with Hokkaido-grown "Haru yo Koi" wheat and its rich pork bone broth, which is made without chemical seasonings, drawing out the umami from high-quality pork bones, seafood, and vegetables. Even with three locations in San Diego, the noodles, soup, and other ingredients are still meticulously prepared in their own kitchen in Claremont.
